You can comment on participant activity entries from the "Responses" tab in the Explore page of your project. This is also where the previous comments for an activity are stored.
There are two types of communication that can happen on an entry: comments and probes. Comments can contain any type of information, while probes are designed to help you track and filter responses containing follow-up questions the researchers have asked participants.
1: Posting Comments
Note: Observer comments are not visible to participants. Only the research team (researchers and observers) can see comments posted by observers.

Comments are color-coded according to the role of the user who posted them:

- Participants: Comments made by participants appear in white. Both researchers and observers can see participant comments.
- Moderators: Comments made by moderators appear in yellow. Moderator comments can be seen by the participant, the research team, and other participants in social activities.
