Click New Activity and select Concept Canvas.
2: Customizing the Concept Canvas
The next step is to customize the concept canvas.
Give the 2x2 graph activity a descriptive title.
Upload the 2x2 graph image you want to use. Below is an example image:
Tip: You can create your own 2x2 graph with any statements for the two axis.
-
Add instructional text for the participants. This example uses the following text:
Welcome to the Canvas tool, which you’ll use to place insurance companies on the 2x2 graph. To do so, simply click on the area of the graph you’d like to place the company, apply the label of the company and tell us why you placed the company there in the space provided. Once you’ve placed a pin for each company, submit the activity.
Add a description statement. The description statement is the title of a follow up question (open-ended answer field) where the participant can specify why they made their selection. This example uses the text “Why do you feel that way?”
Toggle off the Sentiment option. This activity will not use Sentiment, which allows the participant to select an emoji to describe their feelings every time they place a pin on the image.
Toggle on Labels and add them. This example uses the company names that the participant will place on the graph as labels.
Note: You can add up to 12 labels.
