Using Custom Profile fields will allow you to have more flexibility as you analyze your data. One of the largest benefits of using custom profile fields is that it allows you to filter your data in different ways. Each custom profile field creates a filter that you can use while analyzing your data.

1: Viewing Your Fields in the Data
When viewing data in Explore, open the filter drop-down menu and select With profile field.... This option contains any Single Select or Multiple Select custom profile fields you added to your participants' profiles; added custom profiles appear after the email entry.
Note: Only custom profile fields that are considered Single Select or Multiple Select choices will display in the filter.
Profile filters can also be viewed for each active participant by clicking the avatar (profile photo) associated with their activity submission in the Explore pages.
